Torn Apart 01:53
V1: So take your medicine and don’t you mind the taste Get it in one gulp or you’ll be disgraced There’s a poison in you; There’s an antidote; That you don’t have the time to find before you choke C: You don’t want to seem torn apart so you reach for the stars once more You're down to your last chance You could show complete disregard for the secrets you've harbored close; It’s time to let it go V2: If you knew me better then you’d know by now that my best behaviour wasn’t going down There’s a price to pay for your grave mistake; It’s going to cost you more than you're prepared to pay Repeat Chorus C2: Seen our growth severely retarded I fear we have started slow down to our last chance So come salute the dearly departed our feelings are harbored close It’s time to let em go
2.
Blackhearted 04:05
Fire your complaints, List all the mistakes You know you cant hesitate to say Whatever it takes To show your disdain I am invulnerable to shame It’s more of the same, I’m tired of the game I am blackhearted to your ways File your complaints let me feel the hate I am now starting my escape V1: It’s stronger than it was before, an aching pulse of doubt Is throbbing like an open wound Your rage has caught you out You clearly took it all for granted; Lately I have seemed displaced you gave your will up so easily; I thought I’d see some fight in you but you caved in quick To an easy distraction and we’re not asking for much these days C1: Just more of the same so fire your complaints Don’t be half hearted in your criticisms made And I’m not to blame I’ll never change I am black hearted and defanged V2: Mopping up the drops of blood your ego died a little death No one knows the shame you felt, you should lay that burden down Ya we’ll burn it on the bonfire of bad ideas And you can try to even the score but you know by now where it falls apart It’s right when we were taking off gone and shot yourself in the foot again This time we’re hobbling over the finish line for Repeat Chorus 1 C2: And you will explain that things never change But you were half hearted in your praise The more that I cave into your complaints Find I’m disinterested in living like a slave And I’m here to play whatever the stakes I have just started my escape Instro Fire your complaints, List all the mistakes You know you cant hesitate to say Whatever it takes To show your disdain I am invulnerable to shame It’s more of the same, I’m tired of the game I am blackhearted to your ways File your complaints let me feel the hate I am now starting my escape
3.
Demise 04:27
Find me a reason and I will come alive Seem to see something new each time you open your eyes So find that desire kindle the embers inside Set it alight And torch through the wreckage of your mind hide your unsightly blemishes V2: Seem to see your purpose but still you felt confined Silently cast your lot in with the desperates in decline Rise to your challenge Play out the game Regain your balance Your not the same ya you're flailing C: Its the end of an era The end of your line We cast it all aside Kicking and screaming last gasp to breathe in Decline of the tyrant You've seen your own demise You've’ seen your own demise B: All you’ve know overthrown unbeknown set in stone All you’ve known overthrown V3: Your cardinal sin was speaking, speaking out of turn. I’ll sit and watch these ashes simmer until they burn on down to the ground your spell was broken blood was spilled you felt your whole world Slip through your fingertips, your grips not holding up you fall into the nothingness V4: Cast out blacklisted, practised at perfecting it Rejected and despised you're finally with the times Cognizant, all of it caught up in the flaws You pick apart the broken promises - embracing the ridicule Repeat Chorus
4.
Pitchfork 02:51
Pitchfork V1: The cause of your misery remains a mystery I feel you drifting out to sea I’ll string you along What were you thinking? Such a delinquent. You should stop speaking until you work out where you went wrong So move on, ya its gone you played your part V2: Rise to your knees kid its time to feed it. This hunger you're feeling. Will gnaw at you til you put it down What have I paid for shed blood sweat and tears for I’d like to breathe more I can't seem to find a way out There’s no doubt I’m devout I got so high can’t find my way down Instro V3: You like to bitch more wielding your pitchfork stir up a shitstorm The devil in you makes you feel good And you should You got so high can't find your way back down Your renowned for prostituting out your greatest treasure, whatever Bridge It’s too late to turn back once your world starts going crazy. I don’t want to stand there turning grey I want something to change It’s too late to turn back once your world starts going crazy. I don’t want to stand there turning grey I want something to change Stir up a shitstorm you like to bitch more wielding your pitchfork
5.
V1: Caught in a lie now I’ve seen the other side of you. I held my breath I’m torn in two but that’s alright Sneak that one by Your sleight of hand was quite demanding You had a chance to seal your lips but you couldn’t resist Your secret’s safe Don’t ever let them say that I would breathe a word but I don’t have to like it C1: So put out the light I’m not coming home The light In the darkness of your mind. Try to calm your nerve tonight. You can’t buy a saviour V2: Sign of the times You like to drive yourself over the edge The lion’s share of blame was dealt to your acolytes And dying like flies you’ve come to idolise a skyward rise You find you stand on shaky ground but your mesmerised It’s an easy mistake for a shameless fool to make You won’t forget one single truth you can’t escape C2: So turn out the light when you're all alone tonight In the stillness of your mind Time to light the fire inside Try to change your fortune Whoa Whoa You can’t buy a saviour V3: Try to inspire the tired old mind inside of you I find that I’m devising proof that I’m satisfied Politely enraged but your eyes give you away there are a million things to say you're playing with a fire tonight It’s a comforting fate to sink into a haze of blankness You get to choose the way this story ends Repeat Chorus 1 and 2
